Returns, Damages, and Incorrect Orders

    In order to ensure your complete satisfaction with your purchase, we are here to assist you with any returns that may be necessary. For detailed information on our return process, please navigate to the "returns" section below.

  • Damages

    Even the most innovative minds cannot achieve much with a damaged product. Our products are highly valued and it is not our intention for them to be received in this manner. To learn more about what to do if your products come damaged, please navigate to the "damages" section below.

  • Missing Items / Incorrect Items

    In the event you are missing items or receive the wrong items, we want to ensure that we make things right. We have a fantastic team, but every now and then we do make mistakes. If you had a recent purchase within 30 days fall into this category, please navigate to the "missing/incorrect items" section below.

You have 30 calendar days from the day you received your order to notify us
by emailing support@ksmetals.com. Please include your KSM Order # (e.x. KSM-1001)

Once we receive the products at our facility - we will review the contents and make sure they are eligible for return and refund. If they are eligible (no damages or missing items), we will process the refund to your original payment method. 

Note: It is the customer's responsibility to ship the product back to our facility and incur any of the shipping charges for unwanted products or anything ordered incorrectly by the customer. 

*There is a 25% restocking fee for returning any unwanted products or any incorrect product that was mistakenly ordered incorrectly by the customer. 

**If shipping was charged, we do not refund the shipping cost.

*If you would like to include any tracking information back to us via email, it is appreciated but not required.

What we consider a damage product: The structural integrity has been compromised from the original composition of how the product was made. This would include bends or cracks in the material. (I.E. a brass tube that is cracked or a copper sheet/strip that has a significant bend in it)

Note: An aesthetic or visual look is not considered damage. If you would like to know what all of our products are described as, please see the material alloys & specifications page.

In the case of your order arriving damaged, please contact support@ksmetals.com with pictures of the damaged materials / products and the packaging it arrived in. (Boxes, Envelopes, etc) Please include your KSM Order # (e.x. KSM-1001)

Once we receive the pictures, we will review them and notify you about next steps towards replacing the product. Please give us within 1 business day to respond to your initial notice.

We do not charge any restocking fee or shipping fee if you receive a damaged order. 

*In the case of damaged products, please keep in mind that the material that is being manufactured comes unpolished and any water soluble manufacturing lubricant can be washed off using dish soap. Anything of this nature or the nature of a slight bend in material that can be easily bent back to be used as intended, will likely not qualify for a replacement. If there are any minor instances, please still allow us to review it as we do want to make sure you are receiving the highest quality product  that we have lived up to for over 75 years.

We have an amazing team who strives to bring quality and care to every single order they pack and prepare, but sometimes we do make mistakes. We appreciate your grace and we also have a solution if there is ever a situation that this takes place.
