Some of the questions you may have asked yourself:

- What aluminum crafting foils are food safe, animal byproducts free, and PTFE/PFOA free?

All of your questions on crafting foils are answered below by these creative uses

Using Crafting Foil With a cricut or sizzix and cutting with a scissors

K&S Crafting Foils work great through a Sizzix or Cricut maker machine. It's .004" thickness "cuts like butter" even in Cricut's smallest maker machine. Cricut has also provided information on their website about the thickest materials you can cut with the Cricut Maker Series

Any of the K&S Precision Metals Crafting Foils also work well through the Sizzix Big Shot, or even the largest machine, the Sizzix Big Shot Pro

If machines aren't your thing, then feel free to craft as simply as using a scissors to cut through these foil rolls. It cuts easily and can also be used within embossing folders. Die cutting, embossing, machining, and scrapbooking has never been easier for your DIY craft projects when using foils in these ways. K&S Color Aluminum Foils are anodized and can also be used with Foil Transfer techniques.

Advertising or marketing a product or event

Having a foil that holds its shape well is a great asset to any photographer, videographer, or marketer. When you have the perfect shot for your client, it's important to have foils that are sturdy and can hold their ground so your attention stays solely focused on the main subject. We recently found our green foil used to market an event for a vendor of the Philadelphia Eagles. In this promotion for Dietz & Watson's "Bird Dogs", our crafting foil was used in several social media posts by being a supporting player around a scrumptious looking hotdog.

Oh! Also, all of our aluminum crafting foils are food safe, as well as animal byproducts free and PFOA & PTFE free. Check out the full product specifications here.

We would love to see what you can do with our foils in your marketing efforts or for any decorative food crafting.

Creating Children's Projects or Party Decorations

This picture is taken from our K&S Creator's Collective series on YouTube. Go ahead and follow Derek on his social media platforms, but make sure to check out the family friendly show, Making Fun, on Netflix. We are always watching the show, so we understand why kids and adults love it so much!

If your kids have a project coming up for school, or if you would like to make their day extra special - make a sign using our aluminum foils!

Derek from Malden, one of the stars of the cast from Netflix's "Making Fun", used our color foils to create a happy birthday sign for someone special. In this simple crafting project, all Derek needed was some medium-density fiberboard to get his balloon shapes started. After the initial setup, he attached our foils to the MDF using contact cement. Derek also used his CNC machine to cut the foils into their respective balloon shapes.

Not every project needs materials as strong as MDF, but it's only natural for Derek to go big after hanging around Jimmy DiResta for so long!

DIE CUT ALUMINUM GREETING CARDS

Let Renee "save the day" again with these beautiful die cut aluminum greeting cards!

Her process: Cut aluminum and cardstock to the required size needed, use a paper cutter, scissors, or crafting knife. Run the aluminum and panel die cut through a die cut machine. Repeat the process with cardstock.

(Note: not all die cut machines operate the same, the aluminum/panel die combo

may need to be ran 2-3 times.) Then apply glue to adhere them together and Voila!

Valentine's day projects

These shiny foils are great at catching the eye of anyone, as well as that special someone. The pink color foils are especially popular around Valentine's Day in February. These aluminum foils are anondized for most decorative applications and are also two sided with the traditional aluminum reflective look on the back. Instead of purchasing two different foils, let your scrap pieces of foil have their day in the spotlight!

Renee used her Cricut to cut heart shaped confetti and then placed it into a DIY gift box with some sweet treats. A thoughtful gift along with some Hershey kisses is a fine way to show love this Valentine's Day. Foiling machines have proven to be very versatile for crafting foils throughout this entire article and we are even more inspired to use them for future projects.

EMO Valentine's Day Cards

Now this is a new one! For pop-punk or emo rockers and fans of bands like Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance, or 30 Seconds to Mars - look no further than making your own EMO Valentine's Day cards using a nice broad palette  (LOL) of pink and black. The K&S Pink aluminum foil is a great way to cheer up a "sad emo" boy or girl. Or if you prefer, maybe an Anti-Valentine's Day card as a gag gift.

Nevertheless, here is an example of an emo v-day card from LOUDERNOW - The Premier Emo & Pop-Punk Tribute and Cover Band
