Ordered for a buddy. Came when expected but after he opened he swears it's usually cheaper per piece in the 2 packs he gets at the local store, but they're always out of them. I can't personally say as he uses them to make musky baits and I only make one once in a while out of his supply.

Yes, you will more that likely find our products at a lower cost at your local retailer. The reason being: The type of materials we produce are usually meant to be bought in bulk from distributors and wholesalers and then sold to the public from a retail store. They buy it for a bulk price and are then able to give you a lower cost. The reason we started the website is the exact thing you mentioned in your review - they are always out of the product at the store. We have a great relationship with our distributors and retailers. Some stores do not keep up with their inventory as much as they should, but they also have to manage so many different products. This is where our website comes into play. Prior to having our website, if you wanted to order directly from us as a manufacturer, you would need to spend $125 minimum. We are a manufacturer, not a retail outlet, and most manufacturers require a minimum when you order from them. The website allows us to not charge you a minimum order amount. So prior to the website, you could not order 1 item from us directly. You would need to spend $125. Now with the website, you can order directly from us without a minimum, but there prices are higher because of the costs that go into: the website subscription, the cost we are paying for labor to service more orders, the convenience of not having to have a minimum order of $125 and being able to order whenever you would like. It's the same reason there are different prices when you order from a service like doordash versus going to the store to order. I hope this sheds more light on your review. We will always tell people to support stores first, because we believe in supporting businesses. If price is a factor, we 100% want you to get the best price possible and that is why we still deal to distributors and wholesalers. There are many customers who live in towns or areas with no K&S dealers around them. When they need 1 item, they have our website to fall back on and we don't want them to have to pay a $125 minimum order. We appreciate you and for supporting our business. Please use the best method that works for your cost/convenience, as we will still be able to serve you in many different capacities. Thank you!
